Healthcare industry veteran Dr. Hassan Rifaat joins board of advisors at hCentive
Sterling, VA – August 29, 2010 - hCentive, Inc. (www.hcentive.com), an innovative company providing technology solutions to simplify healthcare, proudly announces the recent addition of Dr. Hassan Rifaat to the company's Board of Advisors.
hCentive's web-based health insurance exchange helps individuals and families search and compare health plans from major insurers and purchase the plan that best meets their needs. The supporting technology platform also helps state governments comply with the health insurance exchange requirements of health care reform.

Dr. Rifaat is the chief operating officer for Outcomes Health Information Solutions, where he oversees field and clinical operations for the company's HEDIS and health care coding services. Prior to OHIS he served as senior vice president for the Eastern Region of Coventry Health Care and as a regional chief executive officer of the Southeast and Illinois Regions for Humana. Dr. Rifaat was also vice president of sales for HealthMarket, which offered consumer-driven heath plans to small and mid-sized companies. He was also director of alternative medicine for Oxford Health Plans, where he created one of the first alternative medical plans in the industry, receiving national recognition for its success. Dr. Rifaat earned his M.D. at the University of Virginia and holds a B.A. in biochemistry from Harvard University.
hCentive is co-founded by three serial entrepreneurs who have already been part of two successful start-ups together.
