The 2012 Western Operations Conference hosted by Pacific Blue Cross will feature both the External Operations Conference (EOC) and Internal Operations Conference (IOC).

The EOC is intended for management and professionals of member health payers who operate in fields – E-Commerce, Marketing and Sales, Communications and PR, Underwriting, Quality Assurance, Government Relations etc. The IOC addresses management and employees of member health payers, operating in departments – Claims, HR, Information Systems, Audit, Customer Service, Finance etc.

The Western Operations Conference is hosted by the Western Conference of Prepaid Medical Service Plans, an organization of 31 participating companies. The member companies comprise primarily of Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, principally located throughout the Western United States and Canada.
